Real dogs. Real play. Real harmony.
Filmed right here on our 10-acre dog retreat in Tulalip, WA.
Every day at Doggy Woods Retreat, we live life surrounded by tails, paws, and happy chaos. And now, we’re bringing that joy to your screen. Doggy Woods TV is our way of sharing the magic of the pack, the play, the naps, the chases, the pond dives with pups and people everywhere.
Josh films each video while caring for our daycare and boarding guests. What started as a fun side project quickly turned into a weekly ritual. Dogs love watching other dogs. So we thought… why not make a show for them?
Real Life with Real Dogs
Doggy Woods TV is a YouTube channel where we film right here on our 10-acre off-leash retreat in Tulalip. Every video captures what life is really like with a big happy pack, no scripts, no music, no edits. Just dogs being dogs.
Filmed by Josh, From the Pack’s Point of View
Every clip is shot by Josh while he’s walking the trails, cleaning up after pups, handing out treats, or just hanging out with the pack. It’s all filmed naturally, as it happens.
Made For Dogs, Not Just About Dogs
These videos aren’t just fun for humans, they’re designed to entertain furry companions too. Whether your puppies are bored, recovering from surgery, or can’t go to daycare, they can still watch and feel part of a pack.
At first, we filmed these videos for fun. But when we saw how many dogs were actually watching and engaging, we knew we had to keep going. Now we post weekly episodes to give your pup something familiar, calming, and fun to tune into.

These aren’t clips from a concrete play yard. Our dogs run free through fully fenced forest trails, open grassy fields, sand piles, mud puddles, and a big ol' pond. It’s a dog’s dream, and your pup gets a front-row seat.

Every dog you see in our videos is off-leash and fully immersed in the pack. There are no crates, no timeouts, and no stiff routines. Just dogs being included, free to explore and settle in however they like.

You’ll see dogs snuggled on couches, sprawled out on rugs, or choosing their favorite cozy spots inside our home. At Doggy Woods, they’re not “visitors,” they’re housemates. That energy comes through in every scene.

Doggy Woods is run by a real family, Josh, Colette, and Eve. We live here, walk the fence line daily, and film what we see. These videos are full of heart because this is our life. And we love it.
Dogs Who Miss the Pack
Some pups just don’t do well around other dogs in real life, and that’s okay. Doggy Woods TV lets them safely observe pack behavior, get familiar with dog body language, and maybe even feel like they’re part of the action.
Pups Stuck at Home
Not every dog can head out to daycare or romp in the woods. Injury, anxiety, old age, or just a long rainy day, it happens. Our videos offer a window into the fun they’re missing without being overstimulating.
Dogs Who Need a Bit of Background Buzz
Some dogs just like a little company in the room. Let our pack hang out on your TV or tablet while your pup naps, chews, or lounges nearby. It’s low-key and natural, like having a few dog friends over.
Humans Who Just Love Dogs
Let’s be honest… You might enjoy it, too. A quiet forest trail full of happy tails and soft paws on leaves? It’s hard not to smile. We’ve even had people say they put it on just to unwind.
Mark shared: “I am an avid viewer of Doggy Woods Retreat and keep it on one of my TVs for MAX at all times. Thank you for all these beautiful friends.”
That’s exactly why we make Doggy Woods TV. For pups like Max, it’s not background noise, it’s a daily window into the pack. Even from home, he gets to see his “beautiful friends” and feel part of the adventure.
If one TV is always for Max, we’re doing our job right.
We post new videos every week, straight from the woods, couches, and puddles of Doggy Woods Retreat.
Sometimes it’s a full-blown play session. Other times it’s a lazy afternoon nap pile. You’ll see pups darting through the trees, sniffing fresh trails, splashing in the pond, or just hanging out inside with the crew.
Every video is a little different because pack life changes with the mood, the weather, and the dogs. But one thing stays the same: it’s always real, always calm, and always full of heart.
Your pup probably can’t hit the subscribe button… so we’d love it if you did it for them. That way, they never miss their favorite show.
We live with dogs every day, not just as boarders but as true members of our pack. Over time, we realized something simple: not every dog gets to experience this kind of harmony.
Some dogs are reactive, some are recovering, and some just don’t have access to wide open land or a calm pack environment. We wanted to share what we’ve built here at Doggy Woods Retreat, even if it’s just through a screen.
Doggy Woods TV is our way of including more dogs in the joy. It helps pups connect, observe, unwind, and just feel a part of something bigger. And it lets us share a little of what we love most with the world.
Each like, comment, and subscription helps us keep this dream going and lets us keep making TV your dog can actually enjoy.
From our pack to yours… thanks for watching.

The owners are always very professional, and our dogs get excited as soon as I turn onto the road leading to Doggy Woods. They come home happy and exhausted... And the videos they take are great to have to see our dogs playing with the rest of the pack.Posted on Theresa TrueaxTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Doggy Woods Retreat is the best!! Bailey went for 10 days after there became a family emergency. Daily Facebook post videos were shared and I knew she was having the time of her life. Run, run, run, play, play, play!, Bailey was worn out for 3 days after returning home. I highly, highly recommend Doggy Woods Retreat and will be back soon. Thank you so much!Posted on Kristi McCulloughTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Doggy Woods is truly the best! We have a very high energy dog and she comes home tired and happy. We take her weekly to daycare and she is so excited when we arrive. We have also used them for overnights and training as well. All outstanding! I am so grateful to have found Doggy Woods!Posted on Desta GrahamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Doggy Woods Retreat - A Dog Paradise! Bless my heart, I just have to tell everyone about the WONDERFUL place I found for our sweet Angie! Doggy Woods Retreat is truly a slice of heaven for your four-legged babies. When my husband landed in the hospital (he's fine now, thank the Lord), I was in such a pickle about what to do with Angie. A Google search mentioned Doggy Woods Retreat, and my goodness, what a blessing they turned out to be! This place is tucked away in the most beautiful wooded area near Port Susan RV park. I swear, that dog knows a good thing when she sees it. She is shy at first, but she adjusted well before I left. I know the next time I take her there her tail will be wagging in anticipation of a great play day! She is shy at first, but she adjusted well before I left. I know the next time I take her there her tail will be wagging in anticipation of a great play day! Our Angie is part greyhound, part lab, and ALL energy. At Doggy Woods Retreat, she got to run like the wind with other dogs on their spacious property. I wish you could have seen the smile on her face as she tore around those trees! Made me a bit jealous that I couldn't join in the fun myself! The proof is in the pudding, as they say - our girl has been sleeping like a log since she got home. Completely tuckered out! That's how you know they've had a grand time. Their rates? Reasonable as can be for the peace of mind they provide. Worth every penny to see my girl so happy and well cared for. You know what would be the cat's pajamas? If there was a bed and breakfast nearby! Then my husband and I could have our own little retreat while Angie enjoys hers. Maybe someday! We're already planning to take her back for a half-day of play. Just to let her have another rip-roaring good time with her new furry friends in the new Doggy Woods Retreat the dog "Disney Land" of Marysville! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Doggy Woods Retreat, for taking such wonderful care of our Angie when we needed you most. You're a true godsend for dog lovers!Posted on Wade WatkinsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Doggy Woods took exceptional care of both our pups for the week! We wanted our two dogs to feel like they were on vacation, comfortable with good dogs and great people. They treated our pups like their own, could not be happier with their services! They came back happy and exhausted from the play and adventures. Highly recommend!
got some questions in mind?
Nope, they’re mellow by design. No background music, no barking frenzies, no jump cuts. Just natural sounds, natural pacing, and a lot of tail wags.
All the dogs you see are boarding or daycare guests at Doggy Woods Retreat. They’re off-leash, socialized, and part of our daily routine nothing staged.
We post weekly, usually on the weekend. Each one shows a real day with the pack, so no two videos are the same.
Yes, and they might really benefit. Some of our biggest fans are reactive or anxious pups who watch quietly from home and still get to “join the pack.”
Yes! Many pet owners play it during the day to help their dogs relax. The sounds and scenes provide comfort and mimic the pack experience, especially during playtime breaks at home.
They do! Dogs often react to videos of your pet’s favorite things, like forest walks and squeaky toys. Pet parents say their pups get excited as soon as Doggy Woods TV comes on.
Dogs are part of our family here in Marysville, and our channel shows real dogs exploring our trails. It’s a great next step before visiting our boarding facilities, giving your furry friend a feel for the fun during their designated time with us.
